09MAR08

The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.

I was going to post on a regular basis and as you can see by the dates, that just isn't happening. So, here are the Mary Fewel bhajans.

I will do some reorganizing of the site to allow for better navigation and post new bhajans when they come available, but regular postings at this time, are not possible. In Master's Love.

Well, here's the redesigned site. Hopefully it meets with Master's approval. If you have suggestions, or I've taken liberties that offend in any way, please contact me at pagersteel2 @ yahoo.com and I'll address them.

09JAN08

A satsangi sent this bhajan. It's one of the new bhajans we didn't have a version of. Jo Baksho Hamko is the title and the last stanza was not sung, because, well, life got in the way when he was singing it and distracted him. None the less, the song is sweet and we thank him for his singing. The bhajan words and song are here.

The other bhajan for the day is Mary Fewel's rendition: 122-Pak Ja O Sikha

The Opportunity to Sing His Praises

March 1995

From a talk given March 12, 1995, at the S.K.A Retreat, Sampla, India. Previously published in May, 1995 Sant Bani Magazine.

I thank God Almighty Sawan and Kirpal for giving us this opportunity to sing Their glory. It is only due to Their grace that we are sitting here singing Their praises.

Who Are the Fortunate Ones

January 1992

A talk given January 12, 1992, in Bombay. From Sing the Praises of the Satguru.

"Who are the most fortunate ones? Only those who are able to sing the praises of God arethe most fortunate ones." When can we sing His praises? Only when we are accepted by Him, only when He likes us.

All of you are welcome here in the name of God Sawan and Kirpal. I am extremely happy to see all the dear ones. You know that a wrestler becomes happy when he meets another wrestler. And like a drug addict

The Prayer in the Bhajans

1989, March

A talk given March 24, 1989, in Rajasthan. From Sing the Praises of the Satguru.

I am very grateful to our Beloved Lord Kirpal who gave us this very simple way of making the request and making the prayers in front of Him through singing the bhajans.

So the posts could be a little more regular, which I will try to do. Here's two of Mary's bhajans to try to make up for my laxness.

Aan Ke Dvare Ute Bethe
Aja Pyare

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Go Jolly.

Whose Devotion Are We Doing?

A talk given during a bhajan session, October 1, 1987, in Rajasthan.

From "Sing the Praises of the Satguru"

When this voice comes out from our mouth, and the same thing comes out from our heart – that our Master is everywhere . . .

Okay. I know I said I'd clean up some of the bhajans over at ajaib.com, but technical difficulties have prevented me doing so. This is disappointing, so to try to make it up to you, Sant Bani Tapes has some bhajans by Mary Fewel Turin. They are very good quality, but alas they are in streaming format--great to listen to on the internet, but you can't put them on your ipod, s-o-o-o-o... Mary very graciously agreed to allow this site to post them as well. There are 36 bhajans that will be individually posted. They are large files: 5-7MB. It's almost a perfect 1:1 match to the discourses on bhajans that are being posted. So here goes: The bhajan is Aae Ji Tere Dar Te Bhikhari. The discourse follows below.

There is a stash of mp3's at ajaib.com. They are sung by Indian Satsangi's. I'm starting to clean up a few. Chelo Ni Saiyo is the first.

A satsangi was kind enough to dig through all the old Sant Bani magazines and put together talks Sant Ji had focused on regarding bhajans. If you are inclined to download it, the link is here. Otherwise, if you are interested, the talks will be posted on a regular basis.

1985, May: To Develop Humility

From a talk to the sevadars, Shamaz Retreat.

From Sing the Praises of the Satguru.

The reason for writing so many new bhajans – the thing which I want you people to understand from all these bhajans is what the Master is, and what kind of humility is developed within those who manifest the Master.

Some new updates:

The Italian Sangat graciously shared a copy of their bhajan book, CANTI DEI MAESTRI, and it's been separated out by page and linked to all the bhajans that are presently up. The same is true with the Spanish bhajan book, BAYANES DE LOS MAESTROS, which came from mediaseva.org.

There are a number of bhajans that are being worked on. If it's in His Will, they'll be posted weekly.

There are also plans on putting all photos up that have been accumulated over the years into galleries. This too will take time, but hopefully the wait will be worth it.

We're looking for a recording of Je Sajana Tai Murshad Khush Karna and Jo Baksho Hamko. If anyone has a copy, please contact me at pagersteel2 @ yahoo.com.

Welcome.

Here's the layout of the site. Everything Alpha contains all the bhajans in alphabetical order. Everything Numbers contains all the bhajans in numerical order, following the numbered pages of the 2002 Songs Of The Masters, bhajan book. New Bhajans list all the new bhajans that have been added in the last month or so. They have not been added yet to the other pages. This page is the Updates page.
